blockchain – Do some crypto-assets have an “admin key” that permit some customers to train “unilateral management and affect” over the asset?

I’m studying the SEC prospectus Coinbase’s preliminary public providing, accessible right here. On web page 20, it’s written:

Many crypto belongings have concentrated possession or an “admin key”, permitting a small group of holders to have important unilateral management and affect over key choices regarding their crypto networks, similar to governance choices and protocol adjustments, in addition to the market worth of such crypto belongings.

I’m not aware of the existence of such “admin keys” that permit some customers to unilaterally change the properties of a token or a blockchain. Would anybody care to fill me in or present some sources I can learn?
