Mountain Biker Rescued in Angeles Nationwide Forest – NBC Los Angeles


Some ingenuity and power helped save a mountain biker who tumbled down a rocky cliff Thursday within the mountains northeast of Los Angeles. 

Pictures from a helicopter above the dramatic scene in Angeles Nationwide Forest present the person sprawled on rocks under the Mount Wilson Toll Street close to Altadena. The person fell off the aspect of the cliff and was dangling upside-down from the steep, rocky mountainside when a Los Angeles Sheriff’s Division rescue workforce arrived in a helicopter. 

The rescue workforce mentioned the person’s power and a few fast pondering from his mates probably saved his life. They made a tether out of a rope that prevented him from falling down the mountain, rescuers mentioned. 

The sheriff’s rescue workforce rappelled down the mountain and airlifted him to security.

No critical accidents had been reported.
