Stolen Car Suspect Arrested Following Excessive-Velocity Chase in San Jacinto – NBC Los Angeles
A parolee accused of main authorities on a high- velocity chase in a stolen automobile that started in San Jacinto was behind bars Sunday with out bail.
Noel Avalos, a 28-year-old transient, was arrested and booked into the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning on suspicion of car theft, felony evading, receiving stolen property and violating the phrases of his parole.
Deputes tried to tug over a suspected stolen automobile at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the motive force sped off, driving in a “reckless method,” in accordance with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Division. Sgt. J. Wade Lenton mentioned a sheriff’s helicopter and California Freeway Patrol officers joined within the chase, which ended on Interstate 10 east of Oak Valley Parkway in Beaumont when the suspect’s automobile collided inside a number of vehicles on the roadway.
Avalos was arrested on the scene with out additional incident. Sheriff’s officers didn’t specify whether or not anyone was harm within the crash.
